Is Snowfall in March Unusual in Lincoln, NE?

No, it is NOT unusual.  The table below lists how many times there has been measurable snowfall in each of the months September through May since 1900.

January has the highest frequency of measurable snowfall with 111 out of 114 years seeing snowfall.
However, March has seen measurable snowfall in 99 out of the past 114 years.  Considering that there has been measurable snowfall 87% of the time, it was clearly not that unusual to have snow in March last weekend.
